We have the second project approved for our research. This project have the name "Geoquímica de los metales traza selectos Fe, Mn, Cu, Co, Ni, Zn, y Al en tapetes microbianos, sedimentos y suelos del ambiente hipersalino de Laguna Figueroa, Baja California, México." Basically, the project is an plus help for the PRODEP project. That includes the same trip to collected three cores of hypersaline microbial mats and the subjacent sediments which was sectioned every 2 to 5 mm, but is focused in the estudiante of other trace metals, not just Fe.
